I am a sinner saved by grace and a parttime poet. I participate in Celebrate Recovery and have been sober since 04/09/2011. My wife and I are both retired. I love my life. I am truly blessed.

So here I am sitting at Panera with my new netbook, an Acer Aspire One. I have just logged onto their free wifi and am now updating this blog. I just wish there was a wifi connection at home. There is one, but it is secured, so I can’t connect to it.

I wish I could promise that I would be more regular with my posts now, but I just can’t yet.

One problem with being here at Panera is that I am drinking waay too much coffee (I know – I know – there is such a thing as decaf, and maybe next time I will avail myself of it). There is also the constant dull roar of conversations going on all around me, but that can be almost pleasant sometimes.

I hope that having this new tool will allow me to write more poetry. Now I can go to Word without having to leave the addictive comfort of the recliner. We’ll see.

Well, so much for today’s update –signing off now – bye.
